Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 announced with Squidward and Jimmy Neutron

SpongeBob squarepants, Patrick Star the Ninja Turtles Aang, Korra and Danny Phantom will be back to fight in a brand new platform fighter that is due for release later this summer. It’s the sequel to 2021’s Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, and is said to be reinvented and rebuilt from the ground up — and this time, it includes voice acting for fan-favorite Nickelodeon characters out of the box.

Squidward, too, is present. Jimmy Neutron, too.

IGN published an article from Nickelodeon & GameMill Entertainment about the new game. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2,The game will have an all-new roster and single-player mode, as well as a new set of gameplay mechanics. The players are said to be battling the evil Vlad Plasmius, a billionaire-half-ghost who is trying to control the Nickelodeon world(s).

Super Smash Bros. inspired gameplay is still intact. Brawl 2It’s the same game, just with new Supers.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2,The game will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC via Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One later in the year. This game supports cross-platform gameplay.

Original Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl was released in fall 2021, and utilized the cast of Nickelodeon’s various cartoon series for a Super Smash Bros.-like experience. While players praised the game’s mechanics and character selection, for the most part, they dinged the platform fighter for its fit and finish — and the lack of voice acting, which wasn’t added until months after launch.
