X-Factor updates
NHL 23introduces two new X-Factors in order to spotlight the unique skills of our two cover athlete. Sarah Nurse’s X-Factor is called “Relentless,” and it increases your ability to shoot and pass while off balance, reflecting how prolific a scorer Nurse is. Trevor Zegras’ move, “Skilled Up,” brings an entirely new skill move to the game: his famous flip pass over the net.
Last Chance Puck Movement
Last Chance Puck Movement adds an authentic and realistic layer to the game with 500 new animations. These animations are inspired by player contact patterns and desperate last-minute plays. These new animations reflect real hockey and actual on-ice plays to develop and improve this specific – and important – area of gameplay.
Strategy
NHL 23The updated strategies give you more control and insight into every play on the ice. There are two new options: the 1-1-2 penalty killing and the 1-3-1 Power Play. This is in addition to the previous 1-3-1. Players will receive an alert from New Assisted Strategy via in-game popup if they feel it is necessary to alter their strategies during the game.
Franchise Mode
Franchise Mode will soon offer Custom Leagues, which is a highly requested feature. You can customize almost every setting option to make your league the ultimate commissioner. Choose from 6-8 teams, divisions (2-8), or conferences. For maximum control, you have the ability to change minimum and maximum salaries caps.
Matchmaking across multiple platforms
Cross-Platform Matchmaking will soon be available NHL 23 in a post-launch update later this year, and it’s going to revolutionize how you play online. Online World of Chel will allow players from the same generation console to compete against one another in Ultimate Team and World of Chel modes. The conversion of four matchmaking pools to two will decrease wait times.
Online Vs. Saving Lines and Strategies
It is not something that anyone likes. NHL 23A new feature allows you to save lines and strategis. Get into your games quicker and you’ll be prepared to face any opponent.
Ultimate Team
Women’s Players in HUT
For the first time ever, Ultimate Team is expanding the available players even further with the introduction of women’s IIHF players and mixed women’s and men’s HUT rosters. Now you’ll have more options than ever when building your HUT squad, with the best players in the world available. NHL 23 live content and events will incorporate both men’s and women’s players, so standout players in both leagues will get recognized with special player items.
Rivals of Hut
A new reward system for HUT Rivals, based on win-based rewards, has been introduced to increase the incentive to play and win. If you get on a HUT Rivals win streak, you’ll get an additional reward on top of your typical reward—immediately after each win. Your division will determine the level of the reward.
