New Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom gameplay Nintendo Direct coming Tuesday

Nintendo will present 10 minutes worth of gameplay footage. Tears of the Kingdom: The Legend of ZeldaEiji Aonuma, Zelda series producer and host of the Tuesday presentation will give a more detailed look at Zelda 3. The gameplay presentation won’t be a full-on official Nintendo Direct, apparently, but will give hungry Zelda fans something to chew on before Tears for the Kingdom’s launch in May.

According to a tweet from Nintendo, Legend of ZeldaTears of Kingdom’s gameplay presentation will be shown on Nintendo’s YouTube channel, and will go live March 28 at 10 a.m. EDT/7 a.m. PDT.

Nintendo is known for releasing long gameplay previews of its upcoming games before their release. Splatoon 3 Xenoblade Chronicles 3These new mechanics will be revealed in the game and support after launch. Tears for the Kingdom’s iteration of those gameplay showcases is atypically short at just 10 minutes, so Nintendo may still be holding some of the game’s details (and story beats) close to its chest for launch.
