New to Disney Plus in May 2022: Obi-Wan, Chip and Dale

Disney Plus launched in 2019 with most of Disney’s back catalog, but the platform still hasn’t reached maximum capacity just yet. You can also find original content like the new Obi Wan KenobiSeries, You can find a variety of old movies and shows on Disney Plus every month.

This month Moon Knight Finishes, with Obi-Wan Kenneobi’s premiere a mere few weeks later. There are also Disney Plus Original movies in the interim. Sneakerella — a modern gender-swapped Cinderella redux — and Chip ’Rescue Rangers in n Dale premiere.

Additionally, The Making of Moon Knight incorporates a candid “roundtable discussion” with the series’ directors.

It drops eight teenagers (Paladins), into the fictional, fantastic world of Everealm. They must rescue a kingdom by fulfilling an old prophecy. The eight-episode series features these characters immersed into a fantasyland full of royals, ethereal Fates and all sorts of magical creatures.

Sneakerella Premiere

Disney It is located in New York City’s avant-garde street-sneaker culture. Sneakerella The movie, which is music driven and high energy, puts a new spin on Cinderella.

El, a Queens-based aspiring designer of sneakers, works as a shoe shop stock boy. El hides his talent from his overworked stepfather, and the two mean-spirited stepsbrothers that constantly try to stop him. The sparks fly when El meets Kira King. Kira is the independent, fiercely independent daughter and basketball legend Darius King. They bond because of their shared love for sneakers. With a little nudge from his best friend and a sprinkle of Fairy Godfather magic, El finds the courage to use his talent to pursue his dream of becoming a ‘legit’ sneaker designer in the industry. El now wants to dream big.
