New Redfall Update Finally Brings Performance Mode, Stealth Takedowns, And More

Developer Arkane Studios’ multiplayer vampire shooter Redfall launched earlier this year to middling reviews from critics and players alike – Play Informer The game received a score of 5/10. Xbox had announced ahead of the launch date in May that Redfall was only going to launch on Xbox Series X/S with a Quality Mode that would provide 30 frames per second. They also noted that a Performance Mode wouldn’t be available until a later, unspecified, time. Performance Mode has now been released in Redfall.
Bethesda has not specified how the Performance Mode operates, but it is likely that this mode runs Redfall at 60 frames per seconds. Arkane also gets some highly requested features, like stealth takedowns. This patch brings more accessibility options and improvements to multiplayer communication.
The update notes stated that “This patch adds a Performance Mode for Xbox Series X/S as well as stealth takedowns and new settings on the controller, accessibility improvements and more.” Redfall is now even more deadly with a larger open-world population of enemies, and some new encounters.
