New Gotham Knights Trailer Shows Off A Variant Nightwing Suit And Combat Galore

We were able to see Gotham Knights, Warner Bros. Montreal’s Arkham Knight sequel, a brief 13-minute preview a few weeks back. It is expected that it will be released on October 25, It showed traversal and combat as well as some glimpses of the upgraded system. A new trailer was unveiled today at the Summer Game Fest. It gives us an even deeper insight into Nightwing’s gameplay.

Nightwing, Robin and Batgirl have teamed up to protect Gotham from Batman’s alleged death. Nightwing trained trapeze artists as a child and was long an assistant to Batman.  We can see these two influences clearly in the footage. His acrobatic agility and brutality can make him look distant, but he also has a lot of gadgets at his disposal.

He’s wearing his black and white garb for most of the game, but we do get a glimpse at him in a ninja-like suit which you can craft using specific parts.

Gotham Knights, which is due to be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 4, and PC. While I am hopeful that it will continue the Arkham series legacy, I also believe the inclusion of cooperative gameplay gives the game a fresh identity.
