New Games with Gold for August 2022

It’s time to announce the August Games with Gold lineup! You can run a cafe on the Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S, run a cat café in CalicoYou can slash and burn your way to victory in a platformer for roguelites. ScourgeBringer. You can also earn respect for the classic Backward Compatibility lineup. Saint’s Row 2, You can pull off the greatest heist you have ever seen Monaco: What’s Yours is Mine.

Xbox Live Gold members have limited access to the games as part Games with Gold. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Members will have exclusive access to the games as well as all of the great benefits that Gold offers, plus they can also get over 100 premium Xbox Game Pass games.

Calico

You’ll need to channel the right cat-titude in the totally charming and fuzzy sim game Calico. It’s up to you to rebuild the town’s run-down cat cafe. You can create your own character and choose the right clothes. Then decorate it for humans and cats. Magic potions might allow you to even ride your big cat to work. It’s low stress and creative.

ScourgeBringer

As Kyhra (the deadliest warrior your clan has ever seen), you will cut your way through a postapocalyptic landscape. Discover the fast-paced platformer of the roguelites ScourgeBringer. Attack enemies and the bosses who guard the secrets to the Scourge. This dungeon is constantly changing and contains mysteries as well as mementos from past explorers. These can be used to help you get ahead and maybe even redeem humanity.

Saint’s Row 2

In five years, a lot has been accomplished. The 3rd Street Saints are gone. Your territory is now controlled by corrupt corporate syndicates. You wake up after a long coma. You must rebuild the Saints to regain your territory. This open-world adventure mixes violence and humor, and requires you to earn respect through all means.

Monaco: What’s Yours is Mine

Can you pull off the biggest heist in your life? Start assembling a group of thieves. Pick from any one of the eight talented, colorful, highly-skilled characters. Each character has their own skill set, including the Pickpocket and Locksmith. As you stealthily navigate nightclubs or yachts, play solo or together with your morally dubious friend. In this game, every stage can be told in a unique way.
