You are being transported into an alternate dimension following an encounter with an alien artificial intelligence. One rift has huge concrete walls that slide around and in between as you traverse a vast labyrinth. There are active volcanoes, submerged towns, and many more unexpected challenges awaiting you in the rifts. Dani Rojas will also have to deal with the sardonic A.I. After exploring a strange meteorite impact site, legendary guerrilla Dani Rojas is ripped from Earth and trapped in a supernatural prison – a distorted version of Yara. Dani has to navigate through several fractured challenges to find the five broken pieces that will allow them to free themselves.
A fortress in pieces floating above the sea, an Esperanza underwater filled with dangerous traps, an active volcano to climb down, and a cave in darkness. There are many Rifts that require stealth, navigation and speed while some others call for force and speed.
Fai is your condescending, but oddly charming guide. Together, you will face off against Shardfaces and other enemies, including the color-coded guardians of Rifts. To defeat them, you’ll use Chromatic Combat, switching between red and blue ammo on the fly.
