New Armored Core VI Patch Buffs Various Weapons, Fixes Bugs, And Adjusts Balteus’ Attacks

Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon, which has been available for several weeks, is now out. Some players may have even seen it’s ending, as well as the one after. We enjoyed the game, giving it an 8.25 out of 10 – you can read our review here. If you haven’t jumped into From Software’s latest action title yet, though, you might be in luck because a new patch that’s now live buffs various weapons and adjusts some boss attacks. 

The Software Release Patch 1.02Today, a small update was released that buffs ten weapons, fixes some bugs, and improves the gameplay. The studio says, “[This] new patch has been distributed to improve gameplay stability and make balance adjustments” and that it is “focused on balance adjustments that will allow players more build diversity in the early and mid-game when assembling their AC, as well as bug fixes.” 

It is now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 4, Xbox One as well as PCs via Steam. From Software has announced that balance changes geared towards PvP will be made in the near future.

As for today’s patch, here are the weapon changes: 

  • MA-J-200 RANSETSU-RFIncreased power of attack/rate, and decreased time to reload.
  • LR-046 CURTISReloading time is reduced, but attack power increased.
  • Turner RF024Reloading time reduced, increased attack power/projectile velocity.
  • RF-025 SCUDDERSIncreased projectile/attack power, reduced reload times.
  • MA-J-201 RANSETSU-ARDecreased reloading times, improved attack speed/power.
  • MG-014 LudlowFaster recoil, reduced time to reload and increased attack power.
  • DF-MG-02 CHANG-CHENEnhanced attack power/total round/projectile velocity, reduced reloading times.
  • MA-E 210 ETSUJINReloading time reduced, increased attack power/total round/projectile velocity.

Plus, From Software has “adjusted certain attacks performed” by enemy units AAP07: Balteus, IA-13: Sea Spider, and IB-01: CEL240.

Here are the bug fixes in Armored Core VI’s Patch 1.02: 

  • Fixed a bug that prevented certain weapons from dealing damage to the boss of the mission “Destroy the Weaponized Mining Ship”.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the boss of the mission “Prevent Corporate Salvage of New Tech” to be unable to detect the player.
  • Fixed a bug that caused certain enemies to not be displayed correctly during the mission “Survey the Uninhabited Floating City”.
  • Fixed a bug that caused certain enemies and background objects to be displayed incorrectly during the mission “Attack the Old Spaceport”.
  • A bug was fixed that made certain coral and vertical weapons deal damage in an unintended manner.
  • Camera controls have been improved when watching online battles.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the punch animation to not be displayed correctly on the opponent’s screen during online arena battles.
  • Additional bug fixes
  • [Xbox One / Xbox Series X|S / Steam]Fixes a bug which caused the game’s offline mode to be entered and the inability to save the progress of the user after the device was woken up from the sleep mode.
  • [Steam] Fixed the text displayed on-screen after selecting “Quit Game” from the System Menu on the title screen.
  • [Steam]Fixes a bug that caused certain bosses’ images to render incorrectly.
