Neverwinter: Dragonslayer Roars to Xbox

Are lichs ever really able to be defeated? Although adventurers managed to prevent Valindra Shademantle from finishing the Scaleblight Mythal full, Dragonbone ValeCampaign, she attempted to leave a permanent mark on Forgotten Realms. This failed ritual has unleashed a surge of evil energy along the Sword Coast, awakening dragonsight in many dragons. The tormented dragons have now begun assaulting the inhabitants of Faerûn and it’s up to you, brave heroes, to face the fallout of these events in Neverwinter: Dragonslayer!

Hunting Dragons

The Dragon Hunts module is a brand new queue system. Although adventurers have faced many dragons in Neverwinter’s past, this new threat will be a challenge for those who are skilled at dragon hunting. Enlisted by Lord Neverember, Smerdiuk and his crew have set up a new base of operations in Protector’s Enclave to provide aid to those seeking to face off against the might of the dragons.

Located near the Deekin Street gate in Protector’s Enclave, Smerdiuk Dragonbone’s camp is composed of expert hunters that will guide and assist in Dragon Hunts. At the Dragon Hunter’s Camp, players will find the trusty smith Gurness Stormforge, the dragon tracker and hunter Aerlyna Everfell, the intimidating and mysterious Zaraloth the Essencekeeper, and Dhomir the Pious, Smerdiuk’s lifelong friend and healer of this group. This crew is armed with vast knowledge and will offer assistance, resources, as well as rewards.

The Queue system allows you to access Dragon Hunts. These can both be done solo when faced with young dragons or in groups of three when faced by adult dragons. However, it is necessary for at least five people when dealing against powerful and ancient dragons. Hunt modifiers are available for those that find more challenging challenges rewarding. They will be able to defeat these dragons and receive parts to help them gain rewards. The hunt is altered by these modifiers, which empower the dragon and increase the hunters’ rewards. The new Campaign guides players through Dragon Hunts progression, and allows them to collect Elemental Strands to upgrade and unlock Dragon Hunt Modifiers as well as new gear.

For adventurers seeking even larger group content, Neverwinter: DragonslayerThis version includes reworked Tiamat as well as the standard mode of Crown of Keldegonn. Tiamat is essential for any dragon-oriented content. In an updated Rise of Tiamat trial, the 5-headed, chromatic dragon goddess is back. This fight will test players’ ability to remember everything and make them ready for the most difficult challenges and the most challenging encounters.  

The Standard mode of the trial is available for players who want to access a simpler version of Crown of Keldegonn content. The Standard mode allows the player to drop both the Fortified and Antique weapons found in the Dragonbone Vale area. While the chests do not contain Valindra’s Gems, they can drop seals, refinement gems, and other premium reward items.

Lockbox Reward Scheme Changes

At the launch of Dragon Cult Lockbox, it will be made available. DragonslayerIt also introduced a new reward system. It was a strong response that the Knox Box received, which influenced our decision to update how locks provide rewards. Although lockboxes still need an Enchanted Key, the chances of winning will be displayed to players when they open them. Another major improvement is a progress indicator that increases each time you open the lockbox. The display shows milestones that will guarantee bonus rewards. The progress bar will be reset after opening 250 lockboxes. Players are then awarded the Dragon Cult Choice pack.

The new module, which includes Dragon Hunts and Trials and other System changes, will allow players to experience the Tyranny of Dragons campaign and the Well of Dragons zone as an Epic Adventure. With updated appearances, new powers and an eagerness to adventure, the dragons that cross the Sword Coast are ready for you. Neverwinter: DragonslayerXbox One is now compatible with this game!
