Never Alone Coming To Switch Later This Month, Better Together: Never Alone 2 Teased In New Trailer

The BAFTA Award-winning coop adventure Never Alone will finally be coming to Switch in the latter part of this month.

E-Line Media, specifically, revealed in a trailer that this Switch-hybrid version of the heartwarming game will arrive on the home console’s handheld-hybrid hybrid on February 24. The trailer includes a tease of Better Together: Never Alone 2, so now is the best time to play through the original.

“Winning the ‘Best Debut Game’ BAFTA in 2015, E-Line Media collaborated with the Iñupiat to create this atmospheric puzzle platformer, and Never Alone was recently immortalized as part of Smithsonian’s FUTURES Exhibition,” a press release reads. The Smithsonian launched the FUTURES Exhibition to celebrate its 175th Anniversary in 2021.

“Known as ‘Kishima Ingitchuna’ in the Iñupiaq language, Never Alone immerses players in an atmospheric puzzle platformer in the role of a young Iñupiaq girl and an arctic fox, combining traditional stories, settings, and characters that have been handed down over generations by the Iñupiaq people whose roots and heritage date back millennia. It features imagery and themes drawn directly from Iñupiaq and other Alaska Native cultures, contains striking visuals that emphasize the sensibilities and perspective of these indigenous Arctic peoples, and allows players to work cooperatively to succeed in challenging and harsh environments.”

On February 24, Never Alone: Arctic Collection will be available on Switch. You can play both Never Alone, and Foxtales DLC. E-Line Media teased the sequel in this trailer by announcing that Better Together: Never Alone 2 was in pre-production.
