NetherRealm Releases New Mortal Kombat 1 Keepers Of Time Trailer, Reveals Playable Geras

NetherRealm Studios released two Mortal Kombat 1 Trailers. One focused on the Keepers of Time, and the second on Geras. Geras is a Mortal Kombat 11 character who returns as a playable fight. 

Mortal Kombat’s studios have been steadily releasing trailers and gameplay since the MK1 announcement in May. That continued with the release of two showcases this past weekend, revealing the Keepers of Time group and the Sand-wielding Geras. In the former, we get another look at Liu Kang and a new fatality for him, and the latter showcases Geras’ move set and his fatality.

Ed Boon’s tweet from the weekend showed what some believe to be the debut of a new MK1 character. Boon writes, “New phone. Who dis?” and circles the unknown character, leading many to believe it’s a tease of a new fighter.
