Vikings: Valhalla It brings the glory and blood of the Viking age with it. The new spinoff series of History Channel’s popular series is available on Netflix. It will be set 100 years after its original finale. The Vikings cross swords with the English — and with each other — as the new Christian believers and those who still worship the Norse gods begin to clash.
Vikings: ValhallaIt features Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett), Freydis Eriksdotter, Freydis Eriksdotter and Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter), the legendary explorer.
“My goal would be, at the very end, that you suddenly look back on this incredible period of time of both shows and say, ‘Wow, it was really good when they were just killing those Saxons. I miss the purity of that moment,’” describes showrunner Jeb Stuart.
Netflix will be streaming all the action, bloody fights and fur-lined attire, as well as sleek boats, on February 25, 2015.
