Netflix’s Shadow and Bone season 2 begins in March

The second season of Netflix’s Shadow and BoneOn March 16, 2023, the streaming platform will go live. Shadow and Bone is based on Leigh Bardugo’s bestselling young adult fantasy books, which span three series and are collectively known as the Grishaverse. Jessie Mei Li plays Alina Starkov again, an innocuous cartographer, who soon discovers she is the Sun Summoner, a Grisha capable of manipulating light. Ben Barnes portrays General Kirigan her formidable shadow-manipulating foe.

The first season roughly adapted the first book in the series — while integrating new plotlines for characters featured in the sequel series, Six of Crows. The second season will also take the plot points of the main book. Storm and SiegeYou will also add some additional elements. A few fan-favorite characters from the book will be making their debuts on the new season. Wylan Hendricks and Prince Nikolai Lanstov are among them. Jack Wolfe plays Wylan Wolfe.
