Netflix’s Dragon Age: Absolution gets premiere date, first trailer

BioWare, Netflix and Netflix will stream the Dragon Age fantasy series next month. The Dragon Age of AbsolutionA brand new animated series called “The Fallout from a Heist Goes Wrong” that follows a group of characters as they deal with the aftermath of the heist. A new trailer for The Dragon Age of AbsolutionReleased Thursday, it reveals details about the plot, characters and cast. It is headed by Kimberly Brooks and Matthew Mercer.

According to Netflix’s official description for Abssolution, a plan to steal the blood magic-powered artifact known as the Circulum Infinitus goes sideways, ticking off “the most powerful man in Tevinter” and sending our heroes on a scramble for survival. Netflix promises new characters inspired by Dragon Age lore, familiar roles and races, and “special surprises.”

This is the voice that was used The Dragon Age of Absolution features Kimberly Brooks as Miriam, a “pragmatic elven mercenary”; Matthew Mercer as Fairbanks, a dashing freedom fighter; Ashly Burch as Qwydion, a Qunari mage with bubbly, destructive blabbermouth; Sumalee Montano as Hira, an idealistic mage and friend of Miriam; Phil LaMaar as Roland, a charming, gritty warrior; Keston John as Lacklon, a gruff dwarven fighter; Josh Keaton as Rezaren, “a good man in a wicked world”; and Zehra Fazal as Tassia, a dutiful and hardworking ally of Rezaren.

The Dragon Age of AbsolutionSix 30-minute episodes are included in the series. They will be available on Netflix starting Dec. 9. BioWare and Korean studio Red Dog Culture House developed the series. The company also produced animated series. The WitcherNightmare of the Wolf CentuarworldNetflix. Mae Catt (TransformersCyberverse, Legend of Vox Machina), Tim Sheridan (Transformers: War for Cybertron), and Mairghread Scott (Guardians of the GalaxyScott was the showrunner and Scott wrote the series.

BioWare currently works on the next Dragon Age game. Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. BioWare released the concept art and video teaser for the Dragon Age 4 mainline game, which was first announced in 2018. Dreadwolf This is an allegedly single-player video game. A multiplayer component was cut in early development.
