Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender casts Azula, Suki, and other roles

Netflix has cast its live-action Azula & Suki roles, and three additional parts. Netflix has now added five new members to its cast. Avatar for The Last AirbenderSeries: Azula and Suki, Yukari. Avatar Kyoshi. Gran Gran.

Elizabeth Yu will play Azula (the treacherous younger sister to Prince Zuko)Ray Romano Film All My Love, UntitledMaria Zhang will portray the Kyoshi Warriors’ fierce leader, Suki. Tamlyn Tomita (Cobra Kai: The Good Doctor will play Suki’s mother Yukari, Yvonne Chapman will play Avatar Kyoshi (Kung Fu, Family Law), and Casey Camp-Horinek (Barking Water, Reservation Dogs) will play Katara’s and Sokka’s grandmother, Gran Gran.

These five actors will be joining the cast previously announced: Daniel Dae Kim as Fire Lord Ozai, Gordon Cormier playing Aang, Kiawentiio portraying Katara, Dallas Liu acting as Prince Zuko and Ian Ousley as Sokka.

There’s no release date for the live-action Avatar Netflix has started production of the series in Vancouver, Canada in November.
