Naughty Dog Releases New Last Of Us Part 1 Comparison Video
PlayStation revealed that the long-rumored remake of The Last of Us was real in a leak hours before Naughty Dog could officially reveal it during Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest, but alas, it’s real nonetheless.
Following in the steps of its sequel, The Last of Us Part II, the remake is called The Last of Us Part 1, and it’s beautiful. Naughty Dog and PlayStation will charge $70 for it. This is also a criticism from some who feel that the price of $70 for a PlayStation 3 title that got remastered and released for the PlayStation 4 only a year after its original release, was too high. It also appears to be very much the same game – just with improved graphics and some changes to AI systems and other under-the-hood things. Nonetheless, it’s out on Sept. 1 and will cost $70.
Naughty Dog began slowly releasing information about the new title. This includes comparison videos which show how stark the visual improvements are. This morning the studio unveiled a brand new sequence that compares Ellie and Joel riding on horses along a road. It’s available to view below.
You can see the differences in the two parts. The remake is much more similar to Part II. You can read more about the changes to The Last of Us Part I by reading our article. Game Informer’sOriginal review of The Last of Us
