MultiVersus Season 1 And Rick & Morty Fighter Delayed

MultiVersus has been named the new prize winner in fighting games. Player First Games debut title, MultiVersus, is an eclectic fusion of iconic franchises. It has won over fans with its lighthearted artwork and Super Smash-inspired gameplay. Unfortunately, Morty, Morty, is the rising champion’s first season. Morty will be his next playable character.Rick & MortyThese have now been delayed. Uncertain when the final release date will be.  

MultiVersus Dev Team released tweets thanking players for their support. They also announced the unanticipated news as seen above. The complete statement can be found below.

MultiVersus is a great game. We are excited to see how many people enjoy the game. The Open Beta launch was just the beginning. We want to let everyone know that we are delaying the start of Season 1 & the release of Morty to a later date. This may be disappointing to some, but we want to assure the community that we will continue to deliver exciting and new content to delight players. We will let you know when the time is. We appreciate your patience & enthusiasm and look forward to unveiling Season 1 very soon!”

Season 1 had originally been scheduled to debut on August 9. You’ll have to continue to kick Lebron James’ butt for now. John Carson prepared MultiVersus’ preview for us. His conclusion was that “I came into MultiVersus’ alpha testing with low expectations.” Other than Smash Bros., big-brand mash-up fighters are hollow and have underwhelming rosters. However, I am impressed by the games I have played. It’s a great cast, with each character bringing their own unique gameplay and mechanics into the fray.
