MultiVersus public open beta launches July 26, here’s how to download

It’s almost time for Shaggy to get in the ring with the likes of Batman and Superman. MultiVersusThe fighting game starring a number of Warner Bros. characters, ”, will go public on Tuesday and be open to all to play.

MultiVersusThis is an open-source title, free to play from Warner Bros. Games. It is currently in beta and attempts to differentiate itself from popular fighting games like Super Smash Bros. by offering a 2v2 team-based format. This game is also compatible with a wide range of consoles, allowing for cross-play and progression.

It MultiVersusThe open beta program will start on July 26, at noon ET. MultiVersusIt uses a free-to play system. Open beta downloads are free with the option to make in-game purchases. You can download it on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 (Windows PC), Xbox One (Xbox One), and Xbox Series X. Developers confirmed that the open beta would support cross-play across platforms and allow for cross-progression.

What’s included in the MultiVersus open beta?

Open beta launches with 2v2 co-op, 1v1 matches and 4-player free-for all. Local matches will be played by 1-4 players. Matches and practice modes, as well as custom online lobbies. For fighters, the following is a complete listing of those who can launch with it.

• Shaggy and Velma from Scooby-Doo
• Bugs Bunny, Tasmanian Devil (a.k.a. Taz (Looney Tunes)
• Arya Stark (Game of Thrones)

• Tom & Jerry (Tom and Jerry)
• Iron GiantIron Giantt)
• Reindog is a brand new animal created specifically for this game

The early access preview rotation currently includes Harley Quinn (Shaggy), Jake the Dog (Jake the Dog), and Taz. As part of the updated rotation, Superman and Finn the Human as well as Garnet and Reindog, will not be available until the beta opens. You can unlock the rest of non-preview characters through gameplay.

How long can the Beta survive?

While the end date of the open beta is not known, developers promised they would keep the game updated with seasonal content, new maps and characters in the coming months. The game’s developers made the announcement that LeBron James, from San Diego Comic-Con. Space Jam: A New LegacyRick Sanchez, Morty Smith Rick and MortyWould join the ranks of fighters.
