MultiVersus patch notes prep for Morty, buff Arya, Finn, and Harley

Warner Bros. Games, Player First Games released a new patch. MultiVersusWe prepared for Morty’s arrival on Tuesday (of). Rick & Morty fame) to the roster, while also giving the game’s existing assassins a buff. This applies specifically to Harley Quinn and Finn characters, however, the developer said that additional buffs are expected for Taz and Garnet characters.

The second season of Scooby-Doo’s first season saw characters such as the Iron Giant or Velma get a bit more nerf. MultiVersus.

Season1.01 Patch August 23rd, 2022

Allgemein

  • Tomorrow Morty arrives! 08/23! This will be his first Plumbus-wielding role!
  • This patch is server-side, so updates are only available online.

General Perks

  • Ice to Beat YouIce debuff can only be applied to fighters by projectiles if they are not already debuffed with Ice.
  • I’ll Take ThatThe time taken to refund unstacked cooldowns has been reduced from 0.25 seconds down to 0.5 seconds
  • Reduced stack cooldown refund from 1 second to 0.25 seconds

Gameplay Systems

Bug fixed: Ability cooldowns might not be activated when projectiles are fired close to terrain.

Characters

Arya

+ Assassin Passive:

  • Extra damage is reduced by 14% to 5.5%
  • We’re evaluating if this passive should be removed entirely. While we want to make progress, it is important not to move too quickly. We don’t want to create an assassin dominated meta.
  • This change’s description will not be changed until the next patch

Finn

Since we removed some power from the Backpack on Finn, we’re pushing some additional power into the rest of Finn’s attacks to give him more kill options.

Special for Air/Ground Neutrals:

  • From 5 to 6 points, increased base damage
  • By holding the attack and charging it, you can increase this base damage

+ Special Ground/Air Down (BMO Chop

  • Increased damage from 18-20
  • Increased Knockback Scaling From 18 to 20

+ Assassin Passive:

  • Extra damage is reduced by 14% to 5.5%

Garnet

In the next patch, garnet buffs will be available!

Harley

+ Assassin Passive:

  • Additional damage reduced from 14% to 5 percent
  • We’re evaluating if this passive should be removed entirely. While we want to make progress, it is important not to move too quickly. We don’t want to create an assassin dominated meta.
  • This change’s description will not be changed until the next patch

Iron Giant

The Iron Giant is the current dominant player with an abnormally high level of win rates across all skill levels. Iron Giant’s Neutral Special with stacked cooldown reduction and Velma are causing too few windows for opponents to counterplay. Iron Giant Updates, Global Updates to Perks, and Velma update should increase the chances of opponents against Iron Giant.

Special on Ground/Air Neutral:

  • Increased cooling down from 23s up to 25s

– The Air Up Attack

  • The hit boxes have been reduced to better fit the attack visuals

– Air/Ground Up Special:

  • Reduplication of damage by 1, and base knockback for the last hit of spin

+ Ground/Air Down Special

  • If Cannonball hits an enemy, you can cancel it out

Superman

~Fixes a bug that allows Superman grapple with enemies who wall bounce even when his hitboxes do not connect.

Taz

In the next patch, you will find Taz buffs!

Velma

Special on Ground/Air Down:

  • Velma Educated buff’s cooldown returned to 50% after 8 seconds, from 75%.
