MultiVersus is Smash Bros. meets Batman, Bugs Bunny, Game of Thrones

Superman will face off against Batman, Superman (Batman), Bugs Bunny and AryaStark. Tom and Jerry and other Warner Bros. characters will also be involved in the fight for victory in the new Super Smash Bros.-inspired platform fighter named MultiVersusWarner Bros. Games has announced this Thursday. The game will feature Ultra Instinct Shaggy, a meme-born character from Scooby-Doo. MultiVersusLaunches next year

Warner Bros. Games, developer Player First Games, hope to stand out MultiVersusSimilar games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nickelodeon All-Star BrawlThe game will be available for free with 2v2 team play. The companies also promise full cross-play support — MultiVersus is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X — and “dedicated server-based rollback netcode and content-filled seasons.”

MultiVersus will have an ever-expanding roster, Thursday’s announcement says. The confirmed characters include Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman from DC Universe; Shaggy, Bugs Bunny, Arya Stark and Tom and Jerry from Game of Thrones; and Jake, the Dog, from Adventure Time. Reindog, an original character will be also available.

One-upping Nickelodeon’s crossover brawler, MultiVersusThe cast will also include well-known voice actors, such as Kevin Conroy playing Batman, Tara Strong playing Harley Quinn and Matthew Lillard portraying Shaggy. Maisie Wilkins as Arya, John DiMaggio being Jake, Daniel DiVenere acting as Steven Universe.
