Mortal Kombat 1 pre-order beta start date and how to get access
Mortal Kombat 1.The game will launch on September 19 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC. However, some MK enthusiasts can play the game a whole month earlier, thanks to a 4-day beta coming in August.
You can also find out more about the following: Mortal Kombat 1. beta will begin on Friday, Aug. 18, at 11 a.m. EDT/8 a.m. PDT, and run through Monday, Aug. 21, at 11 a.m. EDT/8 a.m. PDT, according to the official website’s FAQ. Warner Bros. Games, the publisher of the game, says digital codes can be redeemed in advance. Players will also be able pre-load the beta.
Then again, it is not the only way. Mortal Kombat 1. beta will be available only to customers who have pre-ordered the game — either the Standard, Premium, or Kollector’s Edition of MK1 — and will be playable only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Sorry, there is no beta for Switch or PC.
MK1’s pre-order beta will support 1v1 online multiplayer, as well as a limited single-player Klassic Towers mode against AI opponents. (NetherRealm and Warner Bros. have not specified which characters will be playable in the beta, but if it’s anything like Mortal Kombat 11’s online beta, expect a subset of the full roster to be accessible.)
Then you can enjoy the game. Mortal Kombat 1.The online stress test that you take in June does not give you access to pre-order beta. Progress from the beta pre-order does not translate to the full game.
NetherRealm announced a few characters at the San Diego Comic-Con, which took place last week. Mortal Kombat 1.The Kameo Fighters are the two last combatants, Li Mei and Darrius. The latter two combatants are Kameo Fighters, characters that aren’t fully playable but can be tagged in for a variety of assist moves. Li Mei and Tanya join the previously announced main roster characters Liu Kang and Kung Lao. They also include Raiden, Sub Zero, Scorpion and Smoke. Shang Tsung, a launch exclusive character for pre-orders.
