More Resident Evil is coming to Dead by Daylight

Daylight is the last day of daylightThis game combines licensed crossovers with original characters to create a balanced cast. The Resident Evil franchise brought Nemesis and Jill Valentine to the table, as well as Leon S. Kennedy and the Raccoon city Police Department. Daylight is the last day of daylight. Developer Behaviour Interactive has announced that a second Resident Evil Chapter is in the works.

The Killer, Survivor, and potential new map have not been revealed, but the second chapter of Resident Evil content will be called “Project W.” The name of the chapter gives us a hint: Project W, in the Resident Evil canon, is the project that started the Progenitor virus, but more importantly it’s the origin of long-time bad boy (and secret clone) Albert Wesker. An upcoming Netflix series is all about the Wesker family drama, and he’s been a long-time antagonist in the series, only thwarted by the very large Chris Redfield.

Also, this is the first time that a franchise has two chapters. Daylight is the last day of daylight. There are “legendary skins” that offer different takes on a character. Cheryl Mason’s legendary skin can transform players into a legend. Silent Hill 3Lisa Garland, the nurse and protagonist from Silent Hill. However, this is the first time that we will see characters with unique Perks or play styles. The release of Project W will be before 2022 ends. We’ll have more details in the next months. The Dredge is the first thing players will face in Chapter 2, Roots of Dread.
