Morbius trailer: Jared Leto’s Marvel vampire cracks Venom jokes

MorbiusA new trailer has been released for ‘The Living Vampire,’ The Jared Leto-led Venom spinoff’s latest preview was released on Tuesday, and it shows off the character’s vampiric brand of justice and his (lacking) sense of humor.

Morbius Follow Dr. Michael Morbius as he transforms into a superhuman vampire to treat a rare blood disorder. This trailer shows bits of Morbius’ transformation, with the final result being a desire for blood and sharp teeth. Morbius continues to try and do the right thing for everyone, even though (or maybe because) his condition. He becomes an extremely dangerous and complicated superhero.

Also, the trailer this time reminds us to be thankful. Morbius is set inside the same universe as Sony’s other Spider-Man and Spider-Man-adjacent properties. Michael Keaton returns to the role of Vulture. Spider-Man Homecoming, and Morbius himself makes a joke about being Venom — even though we’re not totally sure anyone in Venom’s universe really knows about Venom. This does confirm that all of these villains share a universe though, and that means they also share a connection to Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
