Monster Slaying Survival Game Praey for the Gods Surprise Launches Today

Praey for the Gods has been in Steam Early Access since 2019, but it’s officially 1.0 as of…today! The game can also be played on consoles. 

It has been in development for several years, first revealed back in 2015. The game’s Shadow of the Colossus-inspired bosses caught our eye. You play the role of a warrior equipped with tools like a glider or grapple hook to climb mountains, as well as titans, in an open, frozen world. As a survival game, you’ll also have to catch food and craft items/equipment to survive the unforgiving landscape. The launch trailer gives you a glimpse of the game if this is the first time that you’ve heard about it.

Early Access players will find the final version includes two bosses and completes the story. It also contains a selection of quality-of-life updates/bug fix.

Praey for the Gods is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 4. It can also be played on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
