Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Expansion Confirmed For June Release, New Amiibo Announced
Capcom announced many new details regarding the Monster Hunter Rise expansion Sunbreak during a presentation.
Sunbreak, an expansion Capcom has repeatedly described as being “massive,” will release on June 30 for both Nintendo Switch and PC. Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto announced that the digital version of this DLC is available to preorder now. Existing Monster Hunter Rise players can purchase the base edition of Sunbreak. This edition includes additional cosmetics such as Layered Armod and hairstyles. The Palamute Layered Armor is adorable and Palico Layered Armor will make hunters’ animal companions more similar to real-world pets.
Monster Hunter Rise is a new game, so if you are interested in the entire experience and Sunbreak release dates, the Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak Set can be purchased. This bundle includes the complete base game as well as the expansion.
On June 30, all Monster Hunter Rise owners will get a patch. This update will take up 13GB storage space. It will allow for new weapon balances and content that will be added to the game after Sunbreak is released. For online play to continue, this update will be necessary.
Nintendo Switch Online subscribers are offered a free trial of Monster Hunter Rise.
