Monster Hunter Rise Hits PlayStation And Xbox Next Month

Monster Hunter Rise will embark on a new hunt for Xbox and PlayStation consoles in January. Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will be the next expansion.

The latest entry in the uber-popular series comes to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on January 20. At launch, it will also be accessible on Xbox Game Pass, console, PC and cloud. The new-gen version includes 4K resolution, 60FPS gameplay and 3D sound, as well as customizable options. The trailer shows that 3D Audio is coming to Xbox One’s version with a Spring update. However, there is a disclaimer in the trailer. DualSense haptic feedback is available for shielded and ranged weapons. The game is priced at $39.99 across all platforms.

Monster Hunter Rise was first released for Switch in March 2021. It then migrated to PC in January 2012. In June of this year, Sunbreak arrived on both PC and Switch. Capcom also announced that Rise had sold more than 11 million units in its first year of existence.
