Monster Hunter Rise Comes To Steam In January With New Features And Enhancements

Monster Hunter Rise finally rides to PC via Steam on January 12. This port makes the most of its new, powerful home and includes a number of performance and graphical improvements that make it the best Switch title.

Rise on PC offers 4K resolution graphics and an Ultra Wide Display option. It also has uncapped framerates. Multiplayer sessions are made easier by the inclusion of voice chat and optimized mouse/keyboard controls. The PC port also bundles every piece of DLC to have arrived on the Switch version up to the end of November, which would include collaboration goodies such as the upcoming Ghost ‘N Goblins event. Capcom has also confirmed that Rise’s Sunbreak expansion will be available on Switch and PC versions next summer.

Don’t want to wait until January? Capcom announced a Steam demo for the game launches on October 13, giving PC-centric Monster Hunter fans a chance to test drive Rise on their powerful rigs. You can play online or offline, and you’ll have access to the 14 weapons types. There will also be tutorials available for beginners.

Do you have a longing to play Monster Hunter Rise PC? Do you plan to play Switch? We’d love to hear from you in the comments
