Minecraft movie adaptation will reportedly star Jason Momoa

Aquaman Dune Warner Bros. will feature actor Jason Momoa in the upcoming film MinecraftThe Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the movie is in fact being made. Jared HessNapoleon DynamiteAs the director, ), has been appointed.

MinecraftMovie has been in production since 2014. A version of this movie had originally been scheduled to debut this year. The Hollywood Reporter reported that Mary Parent (DuneRoy Lee (Death Note) will produce, “with Jill Messick receiving a posthumous producing credit for developing the film before her death in 2018.”

For 2019, Minecraft developer Mojang said the movie will center on a teenage girl “and her unlikely group of adventurers. After the malevolent Ender Dragon sets out on a path of destruction, they must save their beautiful, blocky Overworld.”

Steve Carell, a rumored star of 2016, was also tapped. Aside from that, however, MinecraftMystery remains over the film. Popular block-based game Sandbox was launched in 2011. It has been hugely popular. In October 2011, the game had 141 million active monthly players. MinecraftIt is easy to use and lets you create your own story, world, and game while facing enemies only at night. Polygon ranked it as the best game of the decade.
