If you’ve never watched our epic, once-a-year livestream before, then you are in for a treat. The livestream is an epic hour-long discussion about Minecraft. We also discuss the news of Minecraft and Minecraft:Legends, share what’s coming up in the near future and announce the winners of our hotly anticipated contest. mob vote!

Mob Vote 2023

That’s right, the mob vote is making a triumphant return this year, with Three new mobs are available for our community to enjoy!

When you cast your vote for a new mob, you help us decide what we’ll spend time developing. After the vote, the mob is added to the game in the next major patch! The sniffer was last year’s winning dogAn ancient mob which was extinct. Since the summer it’s been sniffing and sniffing our Overworlds. Digging up old seeds while looking adorable.

Mob vote timings

Voting will be open for longer this year, and you will have just over 48 hours** prior to Minecraft Live to cast your vote! The voting will open at 12pm on October 13 and end at 1.15pm on October 15.. What does this mean for you? What time does the mob start for you? And what time does it end for you? 

**48 hours and fifteen minutes, to be exact!

What to do when you vote

The same as last year you’ll be able to cast your vote within Minecraft!You can also vote on the Minecraft: Bedrock Edition live event server. There you will be able to meet Tinies and play minigames. Voting is also possible on Minecraft.net or through the Minecraft Launcher. Our special event server will also remain open for 24 hours after the end of Minecraft Live, which means you’ll have an extra day to finish that scavenger hunt!

Vote for which mobs? That’s a secret – for now. You’ll have to wait until the beginning of October for that special news! Or maybe I’ll be sneaky, and scatter some clues in each of our articles? I guess you’ll have to read them all and find out!
