Introduced as a fancy name for upgrades, improvements do everything from unlocking new resource types to increasing the number of units you can have wandering around with you — and more.

Minecraft Legends: How to improve your game

You can also find out more about the following: Minecraft LegendsImprovements are the structures that you can build in the Well of Fate to unlock upgrades. Improvements are an important part of the campaign. They can be used to gather new resources or increase your gathering and building capabilities.

Whenever you’re at the Well of Fate, you can open the songbook to see all of the improvements that are available. The songbook will show you all the available improvements.

A few tips: Once you first get a gathering improvement, you’ll receive a small batch of it as a freebie. Unlocking improvements will also cause the resource to appear in allay or village chests across the globe. It is especially useful for rare materials such as redstone and diamonds.

You can remove the building if you decide to change your mind. You’ll recoup the exact number of resources you spent, which is nice.

Checking the songbook is a good way to determine if you’re missing something. If the colors of an improvement are greyed out, that means you’re missing something

Lastly, if you’re wondering what “each additional improvement” means, that’s basically a term for upgrading the improvement in question. You can add as many of them as you wish to the original one.

Choose the best Minecraft Legends upgrades first

You will have access to a number of improvements. Minecraft Legends, you’ll likely be struck by indecision. Resources are scarce — prismarine in particular — and it’s not possible to unlock several facilities at once. Below is an order that you might want to unlock, but your priority may vary depending on how you play.

These are the top 10 best Minecraft LegendsPicking the best improvements:

Improvement: Allay Storage

Needs: 100 stone, 100 prismarine, 10 gold

The amount of resource you can transport increases with this improvement. In other words, you’ll be able build more structures and spawn more mobs than you can by default.

From then on, every additional Allay Storage upgrade you install will enable you to store +500 wood and +500 stones, plus +150 lapis, prismarines, or gold. Just one improvement will be enough to make an impact, so you can go on with other more urgent improvements.

Improved Gathering of Coal

Needs: 100 stones, 100 prismarine

Follow the campaign to gain the ability to gather iron. That said, you shouldn’t overlook the one for coal. There are plenty of spots in the overworld to gather it, and you’re bound to stumble upon them often.

Having a sizable amount of coal will always come in handy, especially as it’s the resource that allows you to summon creepers, which are a helpful unit to have due to their explosive nature. Remember that you first need to interact with the Creeper Homestead, and rescue them after they’re occupied by Piglins.

Gather Redstone

Needs100 Stone, 100 Prismanite

Redstone is helpful for many structures, starting with the Redstone Launcher, and it’s definitely worth prioritizing. Redstone can be found in chests that are located inside swam or allay.

The improvement allows you to summon zombies. Remember that in order to do so, you first need to interact with the Zombie Homestead, and rescue them after they’re occupied by Piglins.

Banner Improvement

Needs: 100 stone, 100 prismarine, 25 gold

Before you begin recruiting more mobs, you’re going to need to increase your banner. The first improvement will add +15 mobs to your hero’s rally, with each subsequent improvement adding another +15. One will do for now, but more is better if you can spare the money.

It is a name that has been given to a particular type of animal. Minecraft LegendsIt can be confusing. It is simple: increasing the banner’s capacity will allow you to have more players in your group. You can do this by first rallying the spawn mobs and adding in some other units or animals. This will increase your mob count. Spawning, however, you’ll need the following improvement.

Flames of Creation: Improved

Needs: 200 stone, 200 prismarine, 25 gold

It is important to have as many units as you can. With this upgrade, you will be able summon more mobs at once. Every additional upgrade you add will increase the number of mobs by four at once.

This is because this upgrade pairs well with banners. Having just one Flames of Creation will be enough at first, but here’s my advice: Once you gain access to special units (creepers, skeletons, and so on), you’ll want to build some more improvements of this type to allocate for them.

The Firsts: Improved

Needs100 Stone, 100 Prismanite

This upgrade is essential. Once you’ve gotten yourself a sizable pool of units and resource types to pull from, it’s nice to wake the firsts. They are the golems you find on the map that require gold in order to be activated.

That being said, they’re some of the most powerful units in Minecraft Legends. They’re going to take one slot of your banner units, and if they die, you can rally them back from the closest village, or the Well of Fate.

Other like-minded individuals Expert Carpentry are useful, but you don’t really have to prioritize it over others, especially during the first few hours into the campaign. You’ll have plenty of resources to defend villages during nocturne attacks for the beginning few in-game days anyway, as the sieges won’t be too complex to withstand.

This is also true for Abundant Allays. You can keep this on the lower end of your list, as it’s focused on building first and foremost. Being able to gather more resources at a time is a useful mechanic, but once more, you won’t need to worry about speed too much until you’re in the mid to late points of the campaign. Instead of deploying just one gather allay, consider deploying several around the same location. This is going to speed up the process and, once they’re all done, they’ll automatically return to you to use them again.
