Microsoft Might Bring Call Of Duty To Switch

Microsoft’s acquisition Activision Blizzard was expected to provoke back-and forth discussion about exclusivity. Phil Spencer, the Head of Xbox confirmed that Call of Duty and other popular games would continue to be multiplatform. Spencer did however briefly mention Microsoft’s willingness to take similar steps in support of Nintendo’s success. This is open for interpretation but a recent CNBCInterviewMicrosoft doubles down Spencer’s last remarks, meaning Microsoft may bring Call of Duty on Switch.
According to a EurogamerBrad Smith, Microsoft President, spoke out CNBC“We want to bring” [Call of Duty] to Nintendo devices. We want to make the most of Activision Blizzard’s other titles and keep them available for PlayStation. [and]They will be available for Nintendo. This doesn’t mean, however that Call of Duty future and current games will not be made with Nintendo in mind. However, Spencer and Smith might have envisioned a future in which Call of Duty will be available for all platforms.
