It Beechcraft Bonanza V35, one of the aviation world’s greats, is now available in Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The Microsoft Flight SimulatorThe Beechcraft Bonanza V35 is now available for purchase. This aircraft has been a landmark in aviation history and we are thrilled to share it with you. This classic, sporty cruiser is a favorite of aviators and boasts outstanding performance.
American plane manufacturer Beechcraft has produced the Bonanza V35, a monoplane with a single engine and four seats. This V35 belongs to the Bonanza family. It holds the record for the longest continuously manufactured aircraft line (1947-1999). A number of distinctive features distinguish the Bonanza V35 from other Bonanza Vtail models, including a single-piece windshield or trapezoidal rear window.

Bonanza V35 is 26ft, 5ins nose to tail, has a 33ft, 6in main wing, retractable tricycle landing gear, and measures in at 26ft, 5ins nose-totail. Two planar stabilizers are placed atop the rear fuselage and in a V arrangement. This makes it stand out. The control surfaces at the aft of each V plane are called ruddervators, and perform—in tandem—a as a hybrid of a rudder and an elevator.
The V35’s 6-cylinder Continental IO-520B piston-engine engine produces 285 HP and is driven by a McCauley three-blade propeller. It cruises at 203 mph, can travel 900 miles and has a ceiling of 17.500 feet.

The Bonanza V35 comes with ten liveries including an Xbox, an Aviator’s Club, and eight others from which to choose. You can try it today. You can find it in the Microsoft Flight SimulatorIn-sim Marketplace for $19.99 Stay tuned for more “Local Legends” aircraft coming soon. You are the one calling!

The Microsoft Flight Simulator Game of the Year (GOTY) Standard Edition celebrates all the positive feedback, reviews and awards garnered, but it is also a “Thank You” to our fans – new and old – that have made Microsoft Flight Simulator such a phenomenon. Microsoft Flight Simulator Standard Game of the Year Edition features 25 detailed aircrafts and 38 custom-built airports.
This upgraded edition features five brand-new aircraft and eight newly handcrafted airports. Six new Discovery Flights are available. New tutorials have been added, as well as updates to the weather.
Microsoft Flight Simulator has five brand new, hand-crafted aircraft.
• Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet: Our first military jet and a highly requested feature from the community. We will be releasing the Top Gun: Maverick movie with an expansion, but we want simmers to experience the thrill of speed on this holiday.
• VoloCity: We partnered with well-known German company Volocopter, which is working on an eVTOL called “VoloCity”, a vision for an urban air taxi. The Volocopter engineering group worked closely with us to create an exact replica of the prototype plane for the simulator. This prototype aircraft can make precise landings. The sim will soon launch helicopters.
• Pilatus PC-6 Porter: This legendary short takeoff and landing (STOL) utility aircraft is a highly versatile plane from Switzerland and comes with several cockpits, cabins, and landing gear variations. This aircraft is the product of close cooperation with the manufacturer. The development effort by Hans Hartmann (developer) and Alexander Metzger (developer) resulted into a unique and enjoyable new aircraft that has exceptional capabilities in the simulator.
• CubCrafters NX Cub: Yakima-based CubCrafters recently introduced a nosewheel option for their flagship CC-19 XCub Aircraft, popularly called the NX Cub, which we are pleased to introduce to the flight sim audience to further enhance our bush flying and off airport options.
• Aviat Pitts Special S1S: One of our most popular planes gets a single-seat option with the release of this aircraft.
New Airports – We are adding eight handcrafted airports in Central Europe and the United States:
• Germany
o Leipzig/Halle Airport (EDDP)
o Allgäu Airport Memmingen (EDJA)
o Kassel Airport (EDVK)
•Switzerland
o Lugano Airport (LSZA)
o Zurich Airport (LSZH)
o Luzern-Beromunster Airport (LSZO)
•United States
o Patrick Space Force Base (KCOF)
o Marine Corps Air Station Miramar (KNKX)
Game of the Year is adding details about 545 airports that were previously unknown in the United States.
New Missions-Based on the success of Discovery Flights we have added six additional locations to the series (Helsinki and Freiburg im Breisgau), Mecca, Monument Valleys, Singapore and Mount Cook).
New Tutorials – To further expand the onboarding experience, we are adding 14 new tutorials, introducing simmers to Bush flying (in an Icon A5) and IFR (in a Cessna 172).
New Features – We are also pleased to introduce several highly requested features by the community: an updated weather system, early access to DX12, and a dev mode replay system.
New Photogrammetry Cities – As part of our ongoing collaboration with Bing Maps, we are pleased to add a number of new photogrammetry cities: Helsinki (Finland), Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany), Brighton, Derby, Eastbourne, Newcastle, and Nottingham (UK) and Utrecht (Netherlands).
S.|S. The GOTY Standard Edition, which offers a richer flight simulation experience for new users, is the ideal entry-point to the hobby. It will also be their item of choice as the original has been retired. Get your friends together to enjoy the joys of flying. You are the only one who can see the sky!
