Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, And 3 Are Coming To PlayStation 5

Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater was confirmed as a remake, which had been rumored for a long time. This announcement made the 2023 PlayStation Showcase one of the most exciting. The announcement was followed by another, although smaller, announcement that all three Metal Gear Solid titles would be released on PlayStation 5 as a single package.

Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater teaser ended with the image shown above. The words “Sneak into the Original Games on PlayStation 5” were also included, along with an Autumn 2023 release date. Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Volume 1 suggests more Metal Gears could be on the way. A Volume 2 could hopefully, finally free Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots from its PlayStation 3 prison – the only platform that game has ever been made available on.
