Meta Quest Gaming Showcase Announces 7th Guest VR, Bulletstorm VR, Stranger Things VR, Asgard’s Wrath 2, And More

You could say that with the broadcast of The Meta Quest Gaming Showcase we have officially entered the E3 season. Meta revealed details this morning about the upcoming Meta Quest 3 head-set, including a few teasers for games to be announced during their stream. You can see those details below.

This was followed by the announcement of Asgard’s Wrath 2.. Asgard’s Wrath was one of the most ambitious and well reviewed VR games. It continues the story from the original game while adding new gameplay mechanics. In the next issue of Game InformerThe magazine, in which we interviewed the director. It will also be available on Quest 2, which is another exciting aspect of the sequel.

The Seventh GuestIt appears that the classic game has been completely recreated in VR. The 7th Guest, a 1993 PC puzzle game that featured the use of some of first full-motion videos in video games, was an important milestone. Here’s our interview with the creators of this game.

Stranger Things VRIt is a VR-based game that’s based off the Netflix show. In it, you take on Vecna as the season four antagonist (and possibly five) as he takes over the Upside Down.

No Breaking Titans: Attack on Titan Virtual RealityIt is a VR-based game that’s adapted from popular mangas and animes. Soldiers fly across the battlefield while holding swords in their hands, fighting terrifying humanoid monsters called Titans. This trailer shows some intense action.

Bulletstorm VRPeople Can Fly is developing a VR version of their 2011 first-person shooting game, which was a cult favorite. Regarding the game, People Can Fly says, “Skillshots new and old, as well as the action-packed story—all of it recreated from the ground up to take advantage of VR.”

Samba de AmigoThis is a VR-version of the popular Dreamcast, and then Wii rhythm games. Samba de Amigo Party Central appears to be a different game than the one that will appear on the Switch, although it is clearly part of the same series. The concept seems to be one that would do well in VR.

Ghostbusters Rise of the Ghost LordThe story follows the adventures of a San Francisco-based character who hates Ghostbusters. He is trying to expose them by exploring Alcatraz, and releasing the Ghost Lord. This game is playable by one player or up to three players in co-op.

Vampire The Masquerade: JusticeThis VR game is based upon the Vampire: The Masquerade world. In the trailer, the title is “a bloody adventure RPG”, and the characters are seen pounced on by unsuspecting targets from the rooftops in Venice.

PowerWash Simulator VrIt is a VR version, like many other titles on the list. The game is not clear if this is a new version or just a VR port. But you can clean in VR. That’s the most important thing.

Death Game HotelSwery has created a brand new game, Deadly Premonition. The game brings together players around the globe to play a deadly, dangerous game.

In essence, there was nothing revealed. Assassin’s Creed: Nexus VRThe stream did not reveal anything more than that the game exists, and we’ll learn more about it on the 12th of June at Ubisoft showcase.
