Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection announced for Nintendo Switch

Capcom will bring back the Mega Man Battle Network game in 2023. Capcom announced Tuesday the following: Mega Man Battle Network Legacy CollectionThe Mega Man series is the basis for this 10-game compilation of Game Boy Advance tactical role-playing game games.

In 2001, Battle Network began with Mega Man Battle NetworkThe game is set in an alternative Mega Man universe, where computers and networking drive technological advancement, rather than robotics. The series’ fiction features players fighting a criminal group known as the WWW, or World Three, across an expanding computer network. They control MegaMan.EXE, and use Battle Chips to fight viruses and hackers. The Mega Man Battle Network games were heavily inspired by the Pokémon series and used trading card-like game mechanics. Start with Mega Man Battle Network 3, Capcom released the games in pairs à la Pokémon RedAnd Blue.

The Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection — coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC — will include the following games:
