MCU movies and shows to watch before Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

Ant-Man has set his sights on the Quantum Realm to establish the next phase for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Quantumania, Ant-Man & the Wasp. Despite being the start of Phase 5 of the MCU, the latest adventures of Marvel’s (sometimes) smallest hero has surprisingly few connections to previous Marvel projects.

You can still learn a lot from watching TV and movies, including plot details and nuances. Quantumania: Ant-Man and The Wasp’s release. Here’s everything we suggest watching before you head to the theater when the movie is released on Feb. 17.

It’s the important stuff

This is a list of the films (and shows!) that most matter to me. Quantumania. You can find the first two Ant-Man films, as well as Avengers: EndgameThis is the story of Scott Lang’s journey to where he is now at the beginning. LokiSeason 1, Kang was introduced to the MCU.

  • Ant-Man (Disney Plus)
  • Ant-Man and The Wasp (Disney Plus)
  • Avengers: Endgame (Disney Plus)
  • Loki Season 1 Episode 6 (Disney Plus).

Listen, this order isn’t necessarily about “canon,” and it certainly won’t tell you much about how Quantumania fits into the larger Marvel universe, but it is a selection of the most thematically relevant material for this particular movie, and there’s something to be said for that. There’s nothing much. However, it is something.

This list starts with the regular stuff: Ant-Man’s first outing, then his original mission with (some of) the Avengers. Then it goes a bit more bizarre. It introduces Star Wars to the mix, then adds some Marvel and Agatha Christie. Finally, it jumps back into Marvel, before diving deep into the multiverse. Black for Men And Lokiseason 1. We then look forward.

Kang is multi-faceted villain. To deal with him correctly and show him respect, it’s important to establish a watch list that follows his lead. So here’s what to watch:

  • Ant-Man (Disney Plus)
  • Civil War: Captain America (Disney Plus)
  • Star Wars Episode II – Attack of the Clones (Disney Plus)
  • Ant-Man and The Wasp (Disney Plus)
  • Murder at the Orient Express (Freevee)
  • Avengers: Endgame (Disney Plus)
  • Black for Men (Peacock)
  • Loki Season 1 (Disney Plus)
  • Creed III It will be released on February 27th in cinemas
