Massive GTA Trilogy Update Targets Textures, Collisions, And Many Other Issues

GTA Trilogy was announced in October last year and generated excitement. The GTA Trilogy was expected to include a final edition of GTA 3 Vice City and San Andreas. It featured Unreal Engine-amplified graphics as well as modernized control systems. The upgraded vehicle models and lighting effects are enhanced, as well as higher resolution textures. The bundle was not widely received and disappointed fans almost immediately. There were a variety of issues, from visual glitches to bugs that broke the game, with classic Rockstar titles. These issues were addressed in the 1.04 update. The main focus is on shoddy textures, collisions/clipping and other problems.

Rockstar Support tweeted yesterday to announce that the 1.04 update has been released. These are the most important things to remember because there are numerous incoming fixes.

Allgemein All Platforms

  • All platforms and graphics modes get improved game performance
  • Stability improvements
  • Retrying a mission that was completed at the previous checkpoint caused several problems
  • Numerous collisions issues fixed
  • Resolved several signage and texture issues

Here are the patch notes.

The GTA Trilogy gets the support that it deserves. Fans were skeptical for a long time, with some even taking matters into their own hands on PC with “Better Rain” and “Make Los Santos Great Again” mods. The Trilogy may not reach the same level as vanilla, but it will be interesting to see. An update of large scale is undoubtedly a positive step. Despite the collection’s maligned post-launch period, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick stated that it “significantly exceeded” sales expectations.
