Marvel’s Avengers is getting a new hero: Bucky Barnes as the Winter Soldier

Marvel’s AvengersThe third-person action game from Square Enix is alive and well. This game takes you on a thrilling adventure as one of the many Marvel heroes. Two new patches are available for Iron Man, Captain America and other characters. Bucky Barnes, the Winter Solider will take on a new role.

Forbes shared the information via an interview. Avengers’Brian Waggoner is the lead designer. According to the site, a 2.6 patch will introduce a new story called the Villain Sector, which further develops Monica’s story as she attempts to reboot MODOK after the events of the main campaign. A 2.7 patch will then add Bucky Barnes, The Winter Solider, as an additional playable character.

As of now, there aren’t a ton of details on the new character. Forbes did confirm that Forbes will be presenting his own moves.

This isn’t the first new hero added to the game. Crystal Dynamics revealed that Jane Foster was to play The Mighty Thor in April. Marvel’s Avengers This is for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 (Windows PC), Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
