Marvel Is Announcing A New Game Tomorrow

Marvel revealed today that it will announce a brand new game on May 18th. 

The official Marvel Entertainment twitter account has just tweeted this news, and it’s a 22 second video teasing the game. As for when, Marvel says “Tune in tomorrow at 10 AM PST,” which means we’re already less than 24 hours away from finding out exactly what it is. The teaser video is available below. 

We can get a look at America Chavez. Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of MadnessIronheart is receiving her own Disney Plus series and Venom. It appears that there are Doombots, or an enemy minion associated with Doctor Doom. However, the teaser ends with a splash screen with more than 100 Marvel character logos ranging from deeper cut characters like Blink and Quake to more mainstream ones such as Thanos and Wolverine. 

The trailer also features the Nuverse Logo as well as the Second Dinner logo. These are both games development studios. Nuverse is perhaps best known for its work on mobile titles such as Sonic at the Olympic Games – Tokyo 2020, One Piece: Blood Routes, and Warhammer 40,000: Lost Crusade. Second Dinner worked on Hearthstone and World of Warcraft as well as Halo. Marvel could be teasing a mobile-friendly game, given their respective backgrounds in the space. It could also be a console-only game. Only time will tell for now but fortunately, you don’t have to wait too long.
