Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Third Wave Of DLC Adds Merry Mountain And Peach Gardens This Holiday Season

Fast approaching the halfway point of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Booster Course Pass content. Nintendo is already revealing the details of the next wave of six new courses, with two out of six expected. Today’s Nintendo Direct revealed the two first courses in the new eight-course course wave.

Merry Mountain is the course we discovered about Wave 3 of our Booster Course Pass. The holiday track made its debut in Mario Kart Tour 2020, as part of Winter Tour. Nintendo has also brought Peach Gardens for anyone looking for something else than holiday-themed tracks. This track first appeared in Mario Kart DS’s 2005 Mario Kart DS.

Wave 1 had fan favorite tracks, such as Coconut Mall (Wii), Choco Mountain(N64), or Sky Garden (GBA), while Wave 2 provided access to tracks such Kalimari Desert and Mario Circuit 3 (SNES), Mushroom Gorge and Mushroom Gorge. Each wave has also given us two tracks from Mario Kart Tour, with Wave 2 also including an all-new course in Sky-High Sundae. 

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass Wave 3 is scheduled to arrive this holiday season.
