Magic: The Gathering’s Street Fighter crossover cards revealed
Magic: The Gathering’A new This crossover set will feature Street Fighter’s iconic characters. We knew it was coming from an announcement in the summer of 2021. Now, we have more details about how and when you can get these cards.
Secret Lair is a collection of crossover cards that include: The Gathering: Magic and the GatheringUniverses Beyond, which translates different properties into Magic. Some of these collaborations are franchises like Warhammer 40,000, and Netflix’s series. Arcane, which is based off Riot’s League of Legends.
Secret Lair x Street Fighter drops Ryu, Chun Li, Ken, Blanka and E. Honda. The Secret Lair and Wizards sites allow players to pre-order this set between February 18 and March 18, 2022.
Some fans have FOMO over the Secret Lab collaborations because they last for a short time. To purchase these print-on demand cards, you must first go to the portal. This has led to some controversy within the community, and Magic has made a few tweaks to recent collaborations in line with fans’ feedback.
Street FighterCards are different, and each card has its own mechanics that imitate the characters from the original games. You can buy booster packs that contain alternate cards, which allow you to take part in the new meta as well as experiment with combinations. However, if fans want to get the Street Fighter-specific art and cards, they’ll need to check out the Secret Lair drop before the promotion expires.
Update, February 17, 2009Wizards of the coastline has released the final artwork of the Secret Lair Cards, along with the cropping instructions. IGN has also posted the fuzzy image, which includes details about each card’s mechanics.
