What exactly is FieldSense?

FieldSense provides you with a foundation for consistent gameplay that is ultra-realistic. You have more control of every position in the field. FieldSense affects every game mode in Madden NFL 23S.|S.

FieldSense uses animations that are rooted in Physics and Animation-Branching Technology to create a real, varied, and realistic gaming experience. The four core components of this new, excellent gameplay foundation are: Madden NFL 23: Hit Everything, Skill-Based Passing, 360° Cuts, and WR vs DB Battles.

The defensive pursuit of defense gets a new lease on life with Hit Everything Madden NFL 23You can now disrupt even more on the defensive side with the new mechanics. Do mid-air knockouts or blow up blocks. Help teammates by hitting the pile. Use skillful standup tackles to force more turnovers.

Skill-Based Coaching allows you to direct your receivers in open space and unleash them back-shoulder throws, where no one expects (except your receiver), as well as drop dimes precisely at the right spots. To make sure your passes are perfect, use a passing meter and an accuracy reticle.

No matter what position you are with the ball in your hand, new 360° Cuts provide freedom and fluidity for ball-carriers so they can do exactly what they need to do to get more yards. You can hit the gaps when you see them and then plant and go.

WR vs. DB Battles are a fresh and exciting way to have fun and win 1-v-1 games. Make the most of your footwork by using fancy footwork both on and off the ball.

What’s new to Franchise?

Free Agency is a huge deal when building a team in the NFL, and Franchise mode shouldn’t be any different. In Madden NFL 23, new systems and features in Franchise bring our players closer to the excitement and strategy of one of the most nail-biting parts of any NFL general manager’s career.

In the past, players did not sign up to a franchise team based only on their financial status. Each player is now able to identify three Motivations that are relevant to the type of team they would like to join or trade to. They can include location, coach prestige and team composition. All players begin with three Motivations. These motivations can be changed as they progress in their careers.

Scouting News

There are now 260 scouts, with the addition of more than 50. Every position has at least one scout per tier with every expertise, so you can find the right scout for your team — now it’s your turn to make them an offer.

The Ultimate Team Updates and the New Features

• Field PassUltimate Team – All New Madden NFL 23The Field Pass is a subscription. This all-new system provides a clear path to progression and rewards, and you can earn everything just by playing the game — at no additional costs. The three main types of Field passes are: Competitive, Season and Ultimate Team.

• MUT ChampionsThe MUT Champions app is now more accessible than ever. You can play games any day of week, with resets every Monday. By moving up the levels of the Competitive Pass, you’ll be able to earn Entry Tokens. Entry Tokens also don’t expire and can be stored in your item binder to be used immediately or saved for later.

• Sets 2.0It now only takes three buttons to access the Sets simplified version. The Item Binder will now allow you to access Sets instantly.
