Benedict Fox: The last case has been in development for a few years now and our partner, Plot Twist has delivered an incredible visual art style that hasn’t been seen in any Metroidvania game. It’s filled with gothic, art deco stylings of the Roaring Twenties with tones of rich mauves and deep grays that teleport players into an occult world filled with demonic entities, a story that delves into the human mind’s darker side and a mystery that must be solved.

Through his demon friend, Detective Benedict Fox is able to harness the strange abilities of dead people and enter their memories. He teeters between present day and past in a place called Limbo. This allows him to uncover powerful emotions as well as painful traumas.

Plot Twist Games did an incredible job in creating an interesting storyline with demon-enhanced battles that require tactical forethought, and encourage creative combinations. Benedict’s evolving skill tree adds a ton of tactical depth and visual splendor as you explore a world wrought with secret organizations, wicked rituals, and cold-blooded crime.
