Lords of the Fallen, which sold more than three million copies last year, was bound for a sequel. Publisher CI Games long wanted to see a sequel to Lords of the Fallen. However, those plans didn’t work out as they had hoped. Hexworks was one of several developers that tried to make it happen. Our first view of Hexworks’ The Lords of the Fallen was today during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live. This trailer showcases the stark differences between the worlds of the living & the dead.
The Lords of the Fallen, set one thousand years later than the original, is designed for cooperative play. It allows two players to enjoy uninterrupted online play. According to a press release, the game will be an “expansive RPG adventure filled with NPC missions, engaging characters and rich narrative.” According to some reports, the world has been five times larger than before and is interconnected. It is now all about soulslike combat. This game, with its touch of divining magic and faster speed than the predecessor game, has once more been put under spotlight.
We hear the voice Stranger ThingsThe trailer features actor Joseph Quinn as the protagonist. Players will create their identities. Quinn may be in the game, or just the trailer’s narrator. Although the release date for Lords of the Fallen is unknown, it will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
