Looney Tunes Expansion Racing To Hot Wheels Unleashed This July

Hot Wheels Unleashed is getting some content soon featuring some looney new vehicles and tracks. In a new partnership with Warner Bros., Looney Tunes are coming to the high-octane toy racer in July.

The ACME warehouse is shown in a brief trailer. As the camera pans, the sounds of Wile E. Coyote and the Roadrunner are heard before the two appear on Hot Wheels tracks giving chase. Looney Tunes’ Expansion includes five Tune-flavored cars as well as a theme track builder module and themed profile, basement customization items, and the Looney Tunes Adventure Park for you to explore. Four environments are available in the Adventure Park, each with a different theme. One desert area allows you to create Roadrunner or Wile E. chases.

Hot Wheels launched six Looney Tunes-themed physical cars in 2017 with two of them shown in the trailer. Others not mentioned from this set include Bugs Bunny (Taz the Tazmanian Devil), Marvin, Martian and Daffy Duck. The remaining four collectibles are likely to contain three more cars, which I assume would be the case if I was a gambler.

The Looney Tunes Expansion will be available on July 14 and can be purchased as a piecemeal DLC for Hot Wheels Unleashed but is also tied to the upcoming Hot Wheels Pass vol. 3, which is available for purchase from June 9, and includes additional vehicles, customizations, as well as Track Builder Modules.
