Live-Action System Shock Series In The Works, Will Air Exclusively On Binge

Binge is a videogame-focused entertainment streaming platform. Launched in 2022System Shock is currently being adapted to live action by.

The adaptation will air exclusively on Binge, and it is being made with the help of Nightdive Studios. According to Deadline, Nightdive has owned the rights to System Shock since purchasing it from the now-defunct Looking Glass Studios in 2012. 

The series’ executive producers will be Stephen Kick (Nightdive Studios founder) and Larry Kuperman (director of business development). Allan Ungar directed the series. Ungar told DeadlineBinge says System Shock changed the definition of what an FPS is and believes that this series will be a worthy successor.
