Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth Gets New Trailers And January Release Date

Sega’s Like a Dragon developer Ryu Ga Ga Gotoku Studio (RGG) held a press conference this morning to share all the new details about their upcoming games: Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth, and Like a Dragon Gaiden – The Man who Erased his Name.

It shared a 10-minute story trailer of Infinite Wealth, which revealed so many details I’m hesitant to list them here for fear that they could spoil major plot points in the game. Ichiban Kazuaga is asked to go to Hawaii in order to locate his mother. Ichiban is seen with returning characters. It appears that he will battle giant squids as well, participate in Hawaii-themed activities such as surfing, and get into trouble from local gangs. Kazamu Kiryu is also given some definition in the trailer.

Other details that were not shown in the trailer are the full mobility of the party while they fight, allowing them to use more strategies. There are many ways to earn money in the game, including a minigame inspired by Crazy Taxi. The release date of Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth, which will be soon, was the most important news. Release date is January 26, on PS5, Xbox Series X/S (PS5 and Xbox One), PS4, Xbox One and PC. Preorders for the game will net you the Hero’s Booster Pack, to level up faster and a Special Job Set that includes the Linebacker and Tennis Ace jobs.
