LeBron James, Rick and Morty Confirmed For MultiVersus

MultiVersus has expanded today, with news of Morty Smith, Rick Sanchez and LeBron James joining the ranks. 

King James is added to the list on July 26th, which marks the start of open beta. This was the same version as himself in Space Jam: A New Legacy. That means he’s rocking his Toon Squad jersey and unleashing all manner of over-the-top basketball moves. The gameplay trailer below shows him in action. 

When Season 1 starts on August 1, mad scientist Rick Sanchez will join the roster. He’ll be rocking his portal gun and can summon Meeseeks, among other zany abilities. Morty will join him in the season but has yet to be confirmed. His young sidekick, Morty, focuses on projectile weapons such as grenade guns and can whip himself into hitting targets. 

MultiVersus Open Beta will launch July 26th on PlayStation 3, Xbox, and PC. Though if you played the closed alpha, you’re already playing the game right now.
