Leaked Microsoft Doc Indicates Xbox Is Working On Oblivion Remaster, Fallout 3 Remaster, Dishonored 3, And More

Microsoft representatives and Xbox representatives were in court this past year for the $69 billion Activision Blizzard acquisition to be legally approved. As per usual, court documents and emails were kept from the press and public. However, many documents that had not been seen before leaked out this morning. We learned that Xbox Head Phil Spencer had considered acquiring Nintendo, Warner Bros. Games and other games at some point. Microsoft also plans to refresh the Xbox Series X/S with a brand new controller next year. Some documents also point out that Fallout 3 or The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion could be remastered, along with other titles.
More specifically, a “ZeniMax Management Forecast” document details plans for various games, including the aforementioned remasters of Fallout 3 and Oblivion, alongside a potential sequel to 2022’s Ghostwire: Tokyo and a third installment in Arkane’s Dishonored series.
Take a look below at this document. (Credit to Game Pass Tracker via Twitter)
As you can see, this document mentions other games we know about, like Machine Games’ Indiana Jones project, 2021’s Deathloop, and the recently released Starfield.
The Elder Scrolls VI will also be mentioned. We just found out that this game will not release on Sony PlayStation 5 until at least 2026.
As this document has been leaked for over three-years, it is safe to assume that the plans of this company have likely changed.
Microsoft internal documents reveal that the Xbox Series X/S will be refreshed next year and a new Xbox Controller is also coming.
How about you? Which game are you looking forward to the most? Tell us in the comments!
